To help you find matches nearby, we collect your precise geolocation when the app is in use. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings, though this will limit matching functionality.

We collect data on how you interact with the service, including profiles you view, swipe history, matches, and chat interactions.

3. Sensitive Lifestyle Data#

Ganjamingleis a niche community. We allow you to provide information about your cannabis consumption habits (e.g., “Sativa vs. Indica,” “Daily vs. Weekly,” “Consumption Methods”).

Voluntary Disclosure: Providing this information is entirely voluntary. However, by adding these tags to your profile, you explicitly consent to us processing this sensitive data to suggest compatible matches.

Visibility: This data is visible to other registered users on the platform unless you utilize specific privacy features (like Incognito Mode).

4. How We Use Your Data#

  • To Provide the Service: Creating your profile and displaying it to other users.
  • Matching Algorithm: Using your location, interests, and lifestyle habits to recommend compatible partners.
  • Safety & Moderation:Detecting and banning bots, scammers, and users who violate our “No Sales” policy.
  • Communications: Sending you notifications about new matches or messages.

5. Sharing & Disclosures#

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Cloud hosting (AWS), database management, and customer support tools that help us run the app.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by a subpoena, court order, or to prevent imminent physical harm or illegal activity (such as drug trafficking).
  • Business Transfers: If Ganjamingle is acquired or merged, user data may be transferred as a business asset.

We specifically segregate “Identity Data” (Real Name, Email) from “Profile Data” (Public Profile) in our database architecture to enhance privacy.

  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate data.

Ganjamingle is strictly for users aged 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21. If we discover a user is under 21, we will immediately delete their account and all associated data.
